The Advocacy Hour:
Your opportunity to advocate for life & dignity!
Take one hour of your day to be a Catholic voice at the Capitol on
Tuesday, May 7th
Stop by the Capitol anytime between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to speak with your legislators AND spend time in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in a private room at the Capitol!
Not sure where to begin, how to speak with your legislators, what issues to bring up? You can also attend any of our brief “Lobbying 101” talks given by MCC staff at 9:30, 11:30, 1:30, or 3:30 in the Capitol Vault.
Promote The Advocacy hour at your parish
Watch the videos above to hear from lay Catholics who provide their perspective on advocating for life and dignity as citizen lobbyists, and watch the Inside the Capitol episode that explains what a lobbyist does.

When you arrive at the Capitol, come check in with MCC staff in the Capitol’s basement Vault room. Our staff can then help you find your legislators and provide suggestions on which bill(s) would be most important to address with your specific legislator. You can then choose which issues to speak about with your legislators:
