Inside the Capitol: Gov. Walz, faith leaders, & bi-partisan leaders call for end to federal shutdown

Governor Tim Walz held his first official press conference on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, inviting bi-partisan legislators and faith leaders, including Archbishop Bernard Hebda of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, to address the importance of ending partisan politics to end the federal government shutdown and funding vital safety net human services programs, including SNAP and WIC, for those in poverty.
