MCC MEDIA ADVISORY: MN ‘Fortnight for FreedomEducational Series on Religious Liberty

WHAT: La Conferencia Católica de Minnesota (MCC) First Freedom Project is sponsoring a religious liberty public lecture series during the national U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops (CONFERENCIA EPISCOPAL) “Fortnight for Freedom”—a national period of prayer and study for American Catholics.
More than seventy-five Catholic dioceses throughout the country are offering events in response to this unprecedented call from the nation’s Catholic bishops. Culminating on Independence Day, this special period of prayer and study will emphasize both our Christian and American heritage of liberty.

QUIÉN: Some of Minnesota’s leading Catholic legal and academic experts will address religious liberty issues in the areas of medicine, Ley, women’s freedom, and civic duty.
