Join Catholics across Minnesota for events to mark Religious Freedom Week:

Saturday, June 22nd

Wednesday, June 26th

  • 7:00-8:30 PM – Panel Discussion, “Religious Freedom, A Path to Peace: Catholic and Islamic Perspectives in Dialogue” at the Church of St. Peter in Mendota. The event is free and open to the public.

In a recent joint declaration, Pope Francis and Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayeb affirmed the importance of religious freedom as a path to peace. Our panel discussion brings together Catholic and Islamic perspectives on the message of the joint declaration and how our two communities can foster religious freedom in a pluralistic world and work together to do so.
