Bioethics Brief: Legislative Preview with MCC and MFC

The legislative session begins in just a few weeks, and we want to give you a personal preview of what is coming! Join the Minnesota Catholic Conference (MCC) and Minnesota Family Council (MFC) for an evening dedicated to exploring the critical bioethics issues that will shape the upcoming legislative session at the Minnesota State Capitol.

This event will feature two distinguished scholars, Kallie Fell and Jennifer Lahl, from the Center for Bioethics and Culture Network, who will provide an insightful brief on pressing topics, including in-vitro fertilization (IVF), surrogacy, transgenderism, and physician-assisted suicide (PAS).

In addition, the MCC and MFC policy teams will offer a high-level overview of the legislative session’s dynamics and key expectations, providing valuable context for the debates and discussions ahead.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the speakers during the discussion and purchase signed copies of their book, The Detransition Diaries, which delves deeper into these important issues.

This is an essential event for anyone looking to better understand the ethical challenges and debates that will be central to policymaking in Minnesota in 2025.
