Surrogacy is fast becoming one of the major “life and human dignity” issues of the 21st century. The practice is fraught with complex implications for women, children, and families. What is the physical and emotional impact on the women who serve as surrogates, and on the children who are born from surrogacy? Are “wombs for sale” just another form of human trafficking? What’s the surrogacy landscape in Minnesota?

Join the Minnesota Catholic Conference, with guest Nikolas Nikas, president of the national Bioethics Defense Fund, for a special screening of and discussion about surrogacy and the new documentary “Breeders: a subclass of women?” at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in the lower level Great Hall on Tuesday, April 8.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with movie screening and discussion from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Free will offering. Light refreshments. Limited seating.
