Being an educator, particularly a Catholic educator, in our digital, globally-connected age can be both exciting and challenging. What and who will you rely on to sustain your passion for teaching and sharing the Catholic faith as Good News in this context? The presenter will draw on Pope Francis’ September 2013 address to catechists as we consider what it means to teach and lead from the assumption that God is already at work in our own lives and in learners before we have the opportunity to open the door of faith as their teachers.

Friday’s presentations will focus on Catholic Schools, while Saturday’s presentations will focus on catechists and catechetical leaders.

MCC’s Jason Adkins will be speaking on Saturday, September 27 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
