Schedule:
The morning session (8:00 AM—12:30 PM) is an opportunity for school administrators, board members, and members of the clergy to hear and learn about educational issues in the legislature that may impact nonpublic schools this year. Scheduled speakers include Alice Seagren, former Minnesota Commissioner of Education, and Kathy Saltzman, Director of Students First.
Lunch will be served at 12:30. At 1:30, buses will take participants from the Hayden Center to the State Capitol.
The Rally in the Rotunda begins at 1:45. Administrators, teachers, and parents representing Minnesota’s nonpublic schools will speak on the importance of nonpublic education.
Attendees are encouraged to explore the Capitol or visit with their legislators beginning at 2:15.
