2026 Session Wins | What Passed, What Didn't

What Passed (Bills we spearheaded or actively promoted)

✅ Prediction Markets Ban (Apps like Kalshi, which are gateways to gambling addiction, especially among young men.)

Landmark Social Media Bill (Puts parents back in the driver's seat of kids' social media use)

✅ Guardrails on AI in Healthcare (Requires a human to review adverse healthcare coverage decisions)

✅ Crisis Nursery Licensure Relief (Removes unnecessary red tape for pro-family organizations )

What Was Stopped (Bills we worked tirelessly to block)

IVF Insurance Mandate (In Vitro Fertilization is fraught with difficult ethical dilemmas)

❌ Physician-Assisted Suicide (Would have made killing the cheapest route for our loved ones at the end of their life)

❌ Online Sports Gambling (A state sanctioned consumer fraud scheme that would prey on Minnesota families)

❌ Equal Rights Amendment (Would have further entrenched abortion rights and impose gender ideology on Minnesotans)

🚨 Action Alert from USCCB: Call on the U.S. Senate to Protect Our Haitian Neighbors

While the bishops have recognized that TPS is a temporary measure, forcibly returning thousands of families to Haiti at this moment would not only endanger their lives but would further destabilize Haiti itself, plunging it further into crisis. Now is the time to urge senators to support S. 4814 in order to prevent this injustice from occurring.
