Inside the Capitol: Bishops Meet with Gov. Dayton & Lawmakers (Episode 5 - 3.23.18)

In this week's Inside the Capitol we hear from each of our state's bishops following their meetings with Governor Mark Dayton and legislative leaders. The discussions dealt with current legislation on: affordable housing, offering ultrasounds to mothers seeking abortion, the link between pornography and human trafficking, preventing abuses of commercial surrogacy, gun violence, opioid addictions, and child tax credits.

We also take you along to the latest Capitol 101 advocacy training session where lawmakers share pointers on how to effectively advocate on issues of human dignity and the common good.
